Personal Counseling Retreat Structure
Barry will help you identify any hidden and unhealed Developmental Traumas that are limiting you ability to be intimate in your personal relationships. These traumas also interfere with your success in your professional relationships. At a Personal Counseling Retreat you will learn where this Developmental Trauma is anchored in your past relationships. Then you will learn why it is causing you problems in present time. Finally, you will learn how to fix it.
Typical Personal Counseling Retreat Activities:
- Review your written intake forms containing extensive family-of-origin history to help you pinpoint core issues to work on at the Retreat.
- Review of your self-awareness inventories to help build a work plan for the Retreat.

A Typical Daily Personal Counseling Retreat Schedule involves 6 to 8 hours of one-on-one contact:
- Morning session: 3-4 hours
- Lunch break 2 hours
- Afternoon session: 3-4 hours
At the beginning of each Personal Counseling Retreat, Barry discusses the schedule and cooperatively plans both the activities and the meeting times to meet your specific needs. You will be in charge of how the retreat is scheduled and the pace of the activities. Also, he does not schedule other professional activities during his retreats so that he can give his complete attention to meeting your needs.
Personal Counseling Retreat Fee Structure:
You may schedule a 2 – 5 day Personal Counseling Retreat with Barry for a charge of $1,000/day. A $500 online booking fee reserves your retreat date on their calendar. The balance of your fee is due by the end of the Personal Counseling Retreat.
Barry provides one hour of free phone follow-up time after the retreat for each day you spend in the Personal Counseling Retreat. For example, a three-day retreat includes three hours of follow-up phone or Skype support. You pay only the phone charges for these sessions.
